Since its opening in 2000, the Performance Garage has served as a home for dance in Philadelphia.The Performance Garage is committed to reducing the barriers for dance companies to produce their work, creating a more meaningful dialogue between artists and audiences, and providing a wide range of educational opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels.An incubator for local talent, the Performance Garage offers studio and production rentals at subsidized rates for classes, workshops, auditions, rehearsals, and performances as well as a free after-school dance program for local youth.
