Barrio Independent Productions
BIP, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the productions of artistic works that reflect societal relatable stories impacting global communities, particularly communities of color, while also serving as a cultural bridge between the artists.
As writers, actors, poets, dramatists, filmmakers and producers, BIP’s members are aware of their responsibility as artist to uncover truths, and therefore are intentional about creating opportunities for communities to engage with the arts thoughtfully to provoke self-reflection, empathy and social progress.
We also provide opportunities for emerging artist to develop professionally by gaining exposure and increasing their collaborative networks. Participants interested in continued creative collaborations and creative projects become part of the BIP pool of talent with opportunities for artistic development and continued exposure in live and cinematic productions.
