A little about me, I'm your cookier (yes, that is what we are called), Vickie McHenry, owner of The Classy Cookie, based out of Aurora, CO. I moved to Colorado this past summer after calling the Chicago area home my entire life. I’ve been baking cookies for over 40 years, but really became passionate about sugar cookies in 2019 and I’ve not put down a scribe since (don’t know what a scribe is? I’ll teach you in class!). What started out as a pandemic hobby became a business in early 2021. I honed my decorating skills for a couple of years and started teaching decorating classes in 2023. While I still do custom orders, I found teaching to be what I love most about cookies. I mean, look at what I do –who wouldn’t love making cookies?! It’s the sweetest job in the world!
