MABELLE BLUES BAND, a vibrant fusion of talents and musical passions that came to life in late 2021. Founded by the talented Portuguese musicians, guitarist Vasco Finuras and vocalist Elsa Frias, the band flourished from the rich intersection of their musical experiences. Together, they are the creative minds behind our debut album, already available on various digital platforms.

Vasco Finuras, renowned for his mastery on the guitar, is a multi-instrumentalist who has nurtured his unique ability for creation and composition from an early age. In addition to contributing as one of the main composers of Mabelle Blues Band, Vasco also takes on the role of musical producer in this exciting project.

Elsa Frias, with her unmistakable and expressive voice, captivates listeners with her quality and vocal range. Revealing her talent on The Voice 2018, where she reached the finalist position, Elsa brings her entire artistic identity to the core of this project.

The union of Vasco and Elsa not only reflects their refined appreciation for the Blues but also the magic of creating music with a unique sonic identity. This dynamic duo, who share not only a passion for music but also a marital bond, leads a lineup composed of seven talented musicians, each bringing their own energy and influences to the Blues scene.

This Blues ensemble seeks inspiration from many historic and contemporary blues figures, such as Etta James, Aretha Franklin, BB King, Robben Ford, and Joe Bonamassa, among others.
