The Sri Lanka Society
The Sri Lanka Society (Charity number 269499) was formed in 1975 by an enthusiastic group of Sri Lankans living in and around London with a common vision of helping the disadvantaged in Sri Lanka. The Society is a non-religious, non-political organisation whose members share a common set of values irrespective of their cultural, ethnic or religious background.
We seek to contribute to the alleviation of poverty, suffering and distress of people in Sri Lanka and help improve education and care to those most in need.
The Sri Lanka Society supports small scale projects in healthcare, education, nutrition and research providing care to the most vulnerable in society, especially children, the elderly, terminally ill, disabled and other marginalised groups.
