The Fox and the Flâneur

Joseph Granata is The Fox and the Flâneur, a creature of the city and your London local for guided walking tours.

Having studied at the Manchester School of Architecture and going on to train as an actor at The Poor School in London, Joseph is an engaging story-teller, passionate about connecting with people through a shared appreciation of the built environment and history of London.

After completing Open-City's Golden Key Academy in 2021, Joseph began his career as a tour guide with his Elephant and Castle walking tour, which he continues to present for Open-City. Launching The Fox and the Flâneur in 2024, Joseph continues to expand his repertoire of tours, creating new and unique insights into the city that he loves.

Whilst being grounded in architectural narratives, Joseph identifies the key facets of every area in order to begin his explorations, thus allowing for every tour to present its own distinct theme.
