Project Management Institute (PMI) is the leading authority in project management, dedicated to guiding the way to project success. Since 1969, PMI has shone a light on the power of project management and the people behind the projects.

For more than 50 years, our legacy has been rooted in advancing the project management industry. But with immense change comes the need for recommitment. In early 2024, we launched our PMI:Next strategy to move forward into the future, together. We also defined our brand purpose: we maximise project success to elevate our world.

The PMI Adelaide Chapter, established in 2003, upholds the same standards, principles, and ideas as the global entity. It recognises and embraces project management as a means of achieving business goals.

With over 350 members, PMI Adelaide is one of the fastest-growing chapters in Australia. Managed by volunteers, the chapter offers members the opportunity to learn, network, and exchange ideas and best practices with peers from various industries. Members can also enhance their project management knowledge and skills through monthly events, special workshops, newsletters, and an annual national project management conference.
