The Pacific Rim Hospice Society serves the west coast of Vancouver Island, covering a large geographic area- 349,947 hectares of land with

approximately 6,500 residents (Stats: Clayoquot Biosphere Trust) in five First Nation’s territories covering seven different communities, two municipalities

and one regional district. Three of the First Nation’s communities are accessible only via boat or seaplane.
