Friends of LaGrange County Parks

One of our biggest fundraisers is our annual Sap Run and Syrup Stroll, a 5k fun run and 1 mile walk through the sugar bush at Maple Wood Nature Center, LaGrange, Indiana. This family-friendly event typically takes place the second Saturday of March every year, leading up to the Park's annual festival, Maple Syrup Days. The festival celebrates sugar season with all things maple, and is held the third full weekend of March each year.
