Eli Weissman
My career in finance started in 1998, after completing my MBA, in the Middle East. My professional career began at UBI Bank, one of the largest banks in the Middle East, as Head of Correspondent Banking Relations, where I arranged over $300 million on syndicated loans.
In 1999 I moved to Colombia where I managed an exclusive distribution contract for a high-tech fuel control system. In less than two years, the product infrastructure was installed across Colombia in 30 service locations and was utilized by over 200 fleets of vehicles, including the largest private fleet of trucks in the country.
In 2000, after selling all my assets in Colombia, a $10,000 Chevrolet, and due to the internal conflict that the country was suffering, I had to move to New York City and start my quest for the American dream. I started wiring cables and installing security and POS systems in Washington Heights and the Bronx; later on, I worked in equipment finance and in 2005 landed my dream job as a loan officer. Two years on the job I became one of the top originators of the company, and now I am running my own branch. Since I started working on the mortgage industry, I have helped originating over 1 Billion dollars in mortgages. The rapid growth of my practice has been based almost exclusively on referrals from clients and affiliates. By combining high quality customer service with a unique approach to educating my customers, I have been able to differentiate myself among my peers and establish a reputation of unsurpassed excellence.
In addition to building a highly successful mortgage business. I became an investor with over 50 units in management and have produced classes and seminars, including: Understanding Your Credit and How to Improve it, First Time Home Buyer Seminar, How to Select the Best No Doc Loan, and Building Lasting Wealth Seminar.
