Carmen Paterson-Payne and Connie Herman have been working together for almost two decades to train people from across Canada and internationally, to become confident, participant-centred, and strengths-based facilitators. Their partnership has led them to start creating-connection, an initiative to offer high quality, experiential learning opportunities for professionals working with families to develop effective facilitation skills. As their name suggests, Carmen and Connie are passionate about creating meaningful connections through a head, heart, hand approach to facilitation.
Our content and courses are founded in years of education and hands-on experience. Drawing on research, well-established theories, and proven strategies, your trainers serve as guides to help individuals from all paths of life to become effective facilitators. We bring a playful approach to our courses and workshops because we believe that learning can and should be fun!
