Whether you’re going through a difficult time or in need of a safe place to talk, Talking Stick is an anonymous destination for First Nations youth and adults to feel heard. The Talking Stick app is a text-only chat platform created by First Nations for First Nations. The best part? It is completely anonymous. You don't need a login and we will never ask you to share your name, email, or any personal information. As an anonymous guest, you can use Talking Stick as many times as you need.

The app is powered by First Nations Peer Advocates; real people who live in Saskatchewan, from surrounding communities and in every region. Peer Advocates are not crisis counsellors or healthcare professionals, they are people who have been trained to listen with compassion, respect, and humility. As soon as the chat ends, the chat history is automatically deleted from your phone or computer. It’s just a real conversation with a real person.

You can use the Talking Stick app to talk about anything, including:

  • Mental Health and Wellness
  • Anxiety, Worry, Stress
  • Depression, Loneliness
  • Intergenerational Trauma
  • Grief and Loss
  • Residential Schools
  • Violence, Anger, Bullying

There is no judgment, only support.
