Bookeddate is a cosy community focussing on slow living, reflecting & connection stemming from books (hence, 'book'ed'date - bookish dates or simply a date with or around books). Ria created 'bookeddate' on Instagram in Sept'23, aiming to connect readers all over the world in a cosy, warm & safe space. In April 2024, she begun 'Cosy London Book Club', a cosy book club in the heart of London.

About Cosy London Book Club:

In our cosy book club, we build a sense of community, conversation, and reflection through the books we read. Each month, we host one book club meeting plus a social event, such as a book swap, book summer party, or autumn book walks. Our book club meetings begin with an hour of speed book dating, where members move around and use fun bookish questions to get to know each other and make new friends. We then have an hour and a half of lively discussion about the chosen book of the month.

Our books are themed around the mood and vibe of each month, voted on by our book club members (e.g., Dark Academia October, Reflective November, or Murder Mystery June). We explore a wide range of genres—fiction or non-fiction—and especially highlight books written by non-Western authors, women, and people of colour.

We also host exclusive author events in partnership with well-known publishers like Penguin and HarperCollins, giving our members the chance to meet and engage with their favourite authors.
