BAME Planners Network
The BAME Planners Network was founded in August 2020 in response to the issues faced by Black Asian and Minority Ethnic groups within the planning profession.
The Network is a friendly platform for engagement with one another; individuals and organisations that support our aim. We believe that BAME planners are diverse, work in various sectors and represent a multicultural, multiracial society. The Network is aware of the varying levels of success that exist between different minority groups within the profession and the profound and long-lasting effect discrimination has in the workplace.
The Network is free to join. Primarily for BAME in the United Kingdom and Ireland; who work or would like to work within the Planning Industry. It is not exclusive and anyone who seeks to support the aims of the Network is welcome to join. The Network is not affiliated to any organisation or political party.
