Van Cortlandt House Museum

Van Cortlandt House Museum, built in 1748, was home to generations of the Van Cortlandt family as well as enslaved and free servants. For over 100 years, the museum’s period rooms and authentic furnishings have offered visitors a glimpse of what life was like for the historic residents of the house from 1748 to 1823.
