Tara Achkar
Tara Achkar is a conscious movement facilitator, mindfulness teacher, and wellness practitioner whose work centers around movement as a pathway for emotional release, self-expression, healing, and connection.
Through 5Rhythms, Tara creates grounded and heart-centered spaces where people are invited to explore themselves through music, movement, and embodied awareness — reconnecting with the body, releasing stress, and cultivating deeper presence and authenticity.
Her work is also informed by over a decade of experience in mindfulness and mental health, supporting individuals and communities navigating stress, burnout, emotional challenges, and life transitions. She integrates Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), yoga and meditation, Ayurveda, integrative nutrition, and somatic practices into her approach.
Drawing from both evidence-based and embodied modalities, Tara’s intention is to offer spaces that support nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, creativity, and meaningful human connection.
