Restrict access to content by ticket type.

If you need to limit content by ticket type, like in the following examples:

  • You are running a multi-day conference, and each ticket type is for a different meeting.

  • You offer a bonus webinar for people who sign up for a VIP experience.

  • You have multiple audiences who need different resources.

Then follow these steps:

  1. Go to “Manage events” and select your event.

  2. Go to “Online event page”.

  3. Select the pencil icon next to the section you want to restrict.

  4. Click “Restrict access to”.

  5. Select your desired ticket(s).

  6. Click “Apply”.

NOTE: When you restrict content this way, make sure the access type is "Ticket holders only". This makes sure attendees see the content that is relevant to their tickets.

Restrict access to content by time.

If you need to change when content is available, like in the following examples:

  • You want to keep a webinar link hidden until the event starts.

  • You are running an event over multiple days and want content to appear at different times.

  • You need to make some links or content available only after the event ends.

Then follow these steps:

  1. Go to “Manage events” and select your event.

  2. Go to “Online event page”.

  3. Select the pencil icon next to the section you want to restrict.

  4. Change “Visibility” to “Hidden until event starts” or “Custom schedule”.

  5. If you set a custom schedule, choose the start and end dates.

  6. Click “Apply”.

Tick “Notify attendees when this is shown” to send an email when the content becomes visible.
