About the Mentor
Özge Topçu – Artist and Mentor
Özge Topçu, a Lisbon-based artist and former science teacher, brings a wealth of experience from over a decade navigating the global art world. A Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation grantee and AIR 351 residency alumnus, Özge is an established artist with a robust exhibition record that spans museums, galleries, and biennials across Europe and beyond. Her career includes active participation in curatorial teams, panels, and interdisciplinary discussions, offering her unique insights into the inner workings of the art ecosystem.
With a practice rooted in large-scale installations and digital art, Özge combines her deep understanding of artistic processes with practical experience in presenting work internationally. As the founder of Hypercube Space, she has mentored and collaborated with artists across disciplines, equipping her with the tools to guide others in navigating the contemporary art scene, building professional networks, and developing sustainable careers.
