Wines from Where Wine Was Born: Georgian Wines

Wines from Where Wine Was Born: Georgian Wines

By São Mamede Wine Project

Overview

Taste Georgian wines and travel to the birthplace of wine in a fun, interactive tasting with us

Georgia is the cradle of wine… and this tasting takes you straight into its ancient clay qvevri cellars and bold, expressive flavours.
Together we enjoy fascinating Georgian wines, from amber qvevri whites to deep, characterful reds.

Our WSET-certified wine educators lead the session with stories of tradition, innovation, and a winemaking culture over 8,000 years old.
But this is not a lecture. This is a social, lively, interactive tasting where questions, surprises, and shared reactions are all part of the journey.

Expect an evening of exploration, new tastes, and warm conversation. If you’re curious about natural wine, ancient techniques, or simply love trying something different, Georgian wines will open a whole new world.
