Join us for a hands-on workshop that transforms environmental harm into creative potential.Learn how to repurpose invasive plant species into beautifully textured, handmade paper in a 4-hour session led by Tunisian designer and eco-maker Souad Ghaffari.
Through pulping, blending, and pressing, you’ll explore the surprising creative possibilities of plants like pampas grass, mimosa, giant reed, and more—while diving into themes of sustainability, circular economy, and bio-design.

- Demonstration of soda ash boiling to extract fiber
- Hands-on papermaking with color, texture, and fiber blending

About the Instructor: Souad Ghaffari is a Tunisian designer blending sustainability, craft & innovation. From empowering rural women with TATAOUI to creating olive-based biomaterials at Re Workshop, her work bridges design, identity & eco-conscious making.
