What to expect:
Join us for a cozy Sunday afternoon where you’ll learn the basics of watercolor painting. We’ll go over how to blend colors, control water for different effects, and create simple shapes and textures. The workshop is designed for beginners, but also welcoming for those with some experience who’d like to refresh their skills in a relaxed setting. All materials are included, so you can simply show up and enjoy a creative break away from screens. It’s a gentle and inviting way to spend your Sunday while learning something new.
Your host:
Juliana Romão is a Brazilian artist and designer with a background in Industrial Design and Fine Arts. She has studied in Brazil, Spain, and Lisbon, and her work includes drawing, painting, engraving, and graphic design. Inspired by nature, stories, and everyday life, Juliana creates playful and colorful pieces that blend organic forms, children’s literature, and imagination in a whimsical way. In 2023, she released her first coloring book, inviting people to travel the world through the art of coloring. She shares her love of painting with warmth and encouragement, making watercolor an enjoyable and accessible experience for both beginners and more experienced artists.
