Unicorn Day 2026

Unicorn Day is a Demo Day organized by JUNITEC - Júnior Empresa do Instituto Superior Técnico, bringing together startups and university spin-offs at different stages of growth, investors looking for new opportunities and some of the most talented students and entrepreneurs in Portugal.

The latest edition of Unicorn Day gathered 22 startups, +20 investors and + 240 participants, representing a total investment of more than 15M€ since 2022.

Already with the support of Axians, Veolia, Grupo Sousa, Unicorn Factory Lisboa, Centro de Empreendedorismo da Católica, Loja Studio and Build Up Labs we aim to host on June 2nd 2026, the biggest and best edition of the event.

This edition of Unicorn Day will feature startup and university spin-off pitches, alternating with showcase moments and exhibition booths, where participants will be able to present their products and solutions. In addition, there will be several networking opportunities with founders, CEOs and investors, creating the ideal environment for exchanging ideas, building strategic partnerships, and exploring potential investment opportunities!

This event will bring together some of Portugal’s most talented students and entrepreneurs, as well as emerging startups and key companies within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
