Writers! Translators! Creatives! Let’s gather around and exchange ideas.Our next translation workshop will focus on creative writing and storytelling. We'll ask ourselves, what skills can translators use to boost their confidence as writers? What to expect from this eventWith the help of Sofia Sousa, author of “De Sempre Para Sempre”, and MA in Creative Writing, we will dive into the step-by-step writing process and use our imagination to have fun with words as we translate, transform and create! What do you need to bringYou don't need to bring anything, but it may be useful to have with you something to write with, such as a notebook or laptop. Any linguistic aids are welcomed, like traditional dictionaries. Who is this event forWriters, translators and creatives. Portuguese and English fluency is helpful. Republica.By Bike: If you're using the Gira public bicycles, there is a docking station right across the street (#431 - Rua do Arco Cego / Av. Magalhães Lima).By Car: There is a paid parking lot across the street, between Rua Arco do Cego and Rua Dona Filipa de Vilhena. Street parking is also available around the neighborhood.
