After the success of our pastel de nata workshops, Pastelaria Batalha created new virtual classes to make your Christmas even sweeter! Now, you can learn how to make the most typical Portuguese Christmas cakes at home:

This virtual workshop is led by Chef João Batalha, who shares the step by step recipes handed down by his family at Pastelaria Batalha:

- Rabanadas (Portuguese French Toast)

- Sonhos (Portuguese Doughnuts)

- Coscorões / Filhós (Portuguese Angel Wings / Fried Pastry)

This online class lasts approximately 2 hours, and covers all the steps to make these recipes at home, with very simple ingredients.

Classes take place by video call (with the free ZOOM app), in small groups of up to 12 people.

Before your class we send you the list of necessary ingredients by e-mail, so that you can prepare everything and cook simultaneously with the Chef. During the workshop he explains the process step by step, seeing how the student does at home, and evaluating what can be improved every step of the way, exploring all the little tricks that make a difference. At the end of the class, participants can taste their homemade delicacies at the same time, promoting not only learning, but also socializing among participants.
