The Curious and The Optimist aims at:•Creating a nurturing, inspiring and supportive community for curious & optimists.Nope, you're not alone, come and join!• Via events & workshops providing occasions to meet and have in depth, meaningful and mindful conversations  and thinkingon topics and issues varying from societal (citizen & citizenship, peace ...) to individual•Mindfulactions to start shifting things(because the actual system needs a refit, do we agree on that? ;)• Having social gatherings around "lighter" topics(drinks, food,, books... etc..) to cultivate or ignite our curiosity•Last but not least :Developing an entrepreneurial mindset & skills(whether or not your are an entrepreneur)and 21st century soft skillsSome of the events will be free, others will have a fee (usually the ones involving training or workshops), this will be clearly shown in the event post.WHAT THIS GROUP IS NOT ABOUT:-Tourism for tourism:If we go to a new place that is with a purpose and exercices.==> We love to visit new cities and new places but that's not the purpose of this group...However, if you haven't read this sentence and got lost, we'll welcome you!Engaging with the group :- We are passionate about people and make our possible to avoid being judgmental, we invite other people in the group to welcome their differences and try to turn them around. NOTE : This is a full day event.New Zealand prime minister, Jacinda Harden, mentionned she wanted to focus NZ politics on Kindness, Empathy, and Well Being, and let go of GDP as an indicator of "national health".Could an increase in kindness change the face of the system (and as the consequence the world)?Could the change not come from the next big new idea or the next big solution, but as a "slight" change in our approach of life. For this Think and Do (Mindset Shift), let's take time to go back to kindness and to playfully explore from the "I" the "me" - because it all starts with(in) ourselves.&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;MINDFUL EVENT ANSWERS - 15 spots &lt;&lt;&lt;&lt;&lt;This event is a workshop and is limited to 15 people. If you register without committing to your answer, you take someone else's place and create deception for the organizers and the participants. Our mission is to activate that potential.We also believe that citizenship is based on how we behave on a daily basis. Not only how we buy. But how we behave. Our events are mainly collaborative &amp; participative . They go from thinking to defining (creative) actions we can implement in our daily lives to influence and move this system. Or you update 24h in advance ON ALL PLATEFORMS. We basically ask you TO CHOSE to come and show you care. Be mindful; for the organizer and the other participants.#2- THIS GROUP IS A-POLITICAL AND A-RELIGIOUS which mean you can come as your are. We operate in a space of curiosity, openness and care. It does not mean we will always agree or that we don't have point of views. And it's okey. But the event itself is an invitation to train to postpone and suspend judgement and ... listen.#3 - BE CONSCIOUS AND INTENTIONAL AND OPEN ABOUT YOUR PARTICIPATION.
