During this week Estalagem will host the Nomad Island Fest bringing more than 200 remote workers & tech advisors. The hotel is occupied just for the festival. In this very special Purple Fridays we will have Mahdi, Tunisian musician, composer, DJ With over a decade of experience, he first gained recognition in Tunisia, performing in venues like Jobi Gammarth, Lido Lounge, Neptune Lounge. His performances fuse hypnotic techno with African tribal rhythms, oriental textures, offering an immersive and soulful sonic experience. With him will have the Live Act of I’m Didgetomm, Spanish musician, with a career of 25 years, blend the ancestral energy of the didgeridoo with the electronic sounds.. We will also have Glitch Visuals Artists and 7Heaven In . A Purple not to be missed.

Mahdi [ TN ]

Tunisian musician, composer, DJ, and trained interior architect, Mahdi Hlaoui blends deep artistic roots with a rich musical education. After earning his diploma from the conservatory and receiving his official artistic professional card as a musician, Mahdi began shaping a sound that reflects his unique influences—deeply inspired by live instruments, tribal percussion, and the raw vibrations of nature. His performances fuse hypnotic techno with African tribal rhythms, oriental textures, live vocal solos, and dynamic drum machine percussion, offering an immersive and soulful sonic experience.

With over a decade of experience, Mahdi first gained recognition in Tunisia, performing primarily as an RnB and hip-hop DJ at top venues like Jobi Gammarth, Lido Lounge, Neptune Lounge, Royal Mansour Hotel, and Nour Palace Hotel. Simultaneously, he nurtured his passion for techno at exclusive villa parties, developing the sound he’s known for today.

Now, Mahdi is ready to bring his vibrant, culturally rich sound to larger stages—both across Madeira and internationally—offering a performance that transcends genres and borders.

I’m Didgetomm [ ES ]

Spanish musician and live performer with international reach, specializing in crafting soundscapes that blend the ancestral energy of the didgeridoo with organic live percussion, especially drums. With over 25 years of experience, his work merges trance, ritual, and organic electronic music, offering a deep and transformative sensory journey.

His performances are marked by live improvisation, audience connection, and a collaborative spirit with other musicians and DJs, bringing the voice of the didgeridoo into new rhythmic and sonic territories. He is an active participant in Ecstatic Dance events and conscious music gatherings, contributing a tribal and meditative pulse that drives collective movement.
