In this body of work, the artist invites us into a space where intuition precedes intention, and movement happens before thought has the chance to catch up. Each gesture begins without a plan: the hand acts, the body responds, and only later does the mind try to make sense of what emerged. This dynamic between spontaneity and structure forms the emotional architecture of the series.
The painting process unfolds like a negotiation — between fluid motion and a silent need to organize, between surrender and refinement. What arises is not chaos, but a delicate tension — a choreography of control, where instinct and editing coexist on the same surface. The works hold rawness without resistance.
There’s a sense that the hand carries its own memory — a deeper, physical intelligence that moves independently of logic or prediction. The artist trusts that memory. Oil pastel, thick and immediate, becomes an extension of the body: it scratches, overlaps, resists, insists.
The hand remembers is an exploration of that inevitability.
It offers a visual language not born from perfection, but from the permission to let something true surface. It is painting not as performance, but as encounter — with the self, with the body, and with the invisible things we carry in our gestures.
Join us for this special evening to experience the work up close.
I hope to see you all there.
