Vertical farming can create more resilient, independent and healthy cities.
In this talk we will adress:
- What is vertical farming?
- Examples of vertical farms
- The potential of vertical farming in Lisbon
- Raiz's case: A vertical farm in Beato
The conference will happen in Hub Criativo Beato, inside the Fábrica Lisboa building.
We will have a stand in the same building at the Showroom, where you can meet our team Thursday 7th afternoon (from 3 pm to 8 pm), Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday10th (from 12 pm to 8 pm).
We will be happy to meet you and give you a unique present!
Tickets for Sonar+D cost 15€ and can be bought directly at the door, or on the website.
What is Raiz?
Raiz Vertical Farms is an initiative that proposes an evolution in the way we produce food. Starting in 2020, Raiz Vertical Farms is turning Lisbon into an urban farm bringing sustainable, healthy, km 0 veggies on the tables of Portuguese. As the project develops, Raiz will introduce vertical farms in other cities, initiating a real urban farming evolution.
