What happens when art, community, and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals come together?
Meet Mário Linhares, the creative force behind Zambujal 360°—a bold grassroots initiative turning a social housing neighbourhood on the outskirts of Lisbon into the world’s first SDG-themed urban art gallery.
Zambujal is becoming a living classroom for sustainability and systems change, blending mural art, youth training, entrepreneurship, and community storytelling. Backed by the UN and 17 national partners, the project is as much about transforming lives as it is about painting walls.
Join Palma, while Mário will share his journey from navigating funding challenges to co-creating with residents powerful lessons for changemakers, businesses, and anyone seeking a more regenerative and inclusive future.
The evening will also include a creative drawing exercise and we will reflect on what sustainable transformation means in our own lives.
