The Alternate Future Summit is a one-week long Summit that brings together the major players involved on people development: corporate thought leaders, education visionaries and ecosystem builders. Together, they will discuss how emerging technologies will shape up and assist in changing organizational processes and human behaviour to impact work and life routines.

The Summit is divided into 3 different parts: the ALT+F Hackathon, Tech Talks and Conference Day.

You can find out by taking a look at the projects created during the ALT+F Hackathon where bright students, graduates and enthusiasts of Tech and Social Sciences will work in teams to solve challenges proposed by different companies (challenge sponsors), in the areas of personal development and social impact. In the first two days, 11th and 12th, we will hear a pitch of the projects developed in the first 10 days of September.

Between 13th and 16th, we will have a space at the end of the afternoon for smaller companies to showcase their projects — Tech Talks. Here, we want to give the opportunity to other startups and projects that are in the initial phase to share their ideas and suggestions and to show how the future is happening right now;

Finally, on September 17th, we will have the Conference Day with several talks about the three areas that the event focuses on: we will start with the corporate area, then move on to education and end the day with conversations about the creation of ecosystems (such as incubators and accelerators). The speakers come from different backgrounds and for multiple parts of the world. Each one will contribute with their insights about a specific topic that will diretcly affect the future of people development, either by the work landscape, education or how ecosystems will evolve.
