We are excited to host
Switchdance - one of Portugal’s finest and most adventurous DJ’s and producers - headliner in festivals as Sonar or Neopop. It will be the first event of the season without the tent, pure open sky to enjoy the best sunset of the island.

Every Friday, it’s a special weekly Sunset Social event for Digital Nomads Madeira Island with the best DJs and live acts. Join us on the cliffs for the most beautiful sunset while overlooking the 1st Nomad Village at Ponta do Sol for professional networking, partying and dancing from one of the most beautiful locations on the Island. Entry to the event requires reservation to our Eventbrite guest list.

Switchdance
Marco Antão is the man behind the name SwitchDance, dj and producer with is origins in India, raised in Lisbon. He is a resident at Lisbon’s notorious Lux Frágil and recently played at Sonar, he is widely regarded as being one of Portugal’s finest and most adventurous DJ’s and producers, renowned for his highly eclectic, profoundly hypnotic sets, where is possible to find many oriental sounds in his music.
Known for his diverse musical palette and boundless creativity, Switchdance ultimately seeks to challenge audiences, all the while enticing them with a combination of music that draws equally from a comfortably familiar past and a distant alien future.
He has played at every significant club and festival in Portugal as well as all over Europe and was invited by the Red Bull Music Academy to play at two editions of Boiler Room.
Taking his love of psychedelic arpeggios, gothic melodies and dusty drum machine-driven percussive moments, he distills and restructures these elements into a unique sound elegantly displayed in his productions showcased on labels such as Karakter, Areal and, most recently, Innervisions - one of the biggest labels in modern electronic music.
Switchdance has been revealed as one of the most promising talents to come out of Portugal in decades. A Purple Fridays not to be missed.
