PHIL NICHOL

Phil was born in Glasgow, grew up in Toronto, and now resides in London, England.

As a stand-up, Phil is internationally renowned, having performed in 52 countries and appearing on Festival TV Galas including Just for Laughs, Melbourne International CF, New Zealand CF and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His last international tour show, Your Wrong, played over 130 shows in 13 countries. Phil has filmed four stand-up comedy specials including his Edinburgh Comedy award winning show The Naked Racist and the groundbreaking Nearly Gay for ITV2. His early career with seminal Canadian comedy act Corky and the Juice Pigs spanned ten years with the pinnacle of the Juice Pigs success being two memorable seasons on Mad TV.

On the stage, Phil recently appeared in London’s West End as Loco Chanelle in the Olivier award nominated, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. He starred alongside Christian Slater in One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Boy George in Taboo and Bill Bailey in the fringe sensation Twelve Angry Men. Phil travelled to New York with the Donmar Warehouse to perform in The Machine written by Academy award nominated Matt Charman. Phil is presently playing Dick Marlin, leading the brand new Spiegelworld cirque cabaret show, The Hook, in Atlantic City.

Phil has won numerous performance awards including the 2005 Stage Award for Acting Excellence (The Zoo Story), the 2006 Edinburgh Comedy Award (The Naked Racist) and a Scotsman Fringe First for the monologue Somewhere Beneath It All, A Small Fire Burns Still (2011).

RACHEL MORTON-YOUNG

Rachel Morton-Young is an energetic British Expat, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. As a scatty Mum of two who thrives on organised chaos, her life is a constant source of inspiration for the comedy she writes and performs.

Known for her friendly, chatty and relatable comedic style, Rachel has firmly established herself as a prominent figure on the English-speaking comedy scene in the Netherlands.

In 2021, Rachel was awarded Best Stand-up by worldwidecomedyawards.com.

Rachel has been performing stand-up comedy since 2017. She is the owner of Mad Cow Comedy and produces and hosts International Comedy Showcases, bringing comedians from all over the world to the stage. Rachel performs and hosts regularly at comedy clubs throughout the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

Rachel has played at several comedy festivals, including the Nottingham Fringe, Women in Comedy (Manchester) and the Edinburgh Fringe (2022, 2023 and 2024).

ROBERTS CL

Venezuelan-born, American-raised, and now based in Spain, Roberts CL turns cultural contrast into sharp, relatable comedy. With the smooth delivery of a news anchor and the wit of a world traveler, he’s become one of the key voices shaping Madrid’s English-language stand-up scene as co-founder of Madrid Crack Comedy and organizer of the Madrid Comedy Festival.

B. Amigos dos Animais de Albergaria-a-Velha

AAAAV is a non-profit organization that aims to save, help, protect and shelter animals in Albergaria-a-Velha (Aveiro District). They promote their well-being and responsible adoption.

They currently have around 250 animals in their care (dogs and cats) and need assistance with basic things such as food supplies for the animals, cleaning products for the shelter, as well as medicine, blankets, beds, toys and other things that might make the shelter life easier.
