The International Conference on the Quality of Information and Communications Technology QUATIC 2023 will occur September 11-13, 2023, at Aveiro University. It offers two hands-on tutorials on the first day open to the SW community. #quatic2023

Due to unforeseen reasons, Antoine Craske will not be able to present his tutorial &quot;Setting up in Continuous Testing in DevOps&quot;. Although versing a different subject Catarina Reis &amp; Bernardo Figueiredo will present the tutorial entitled &quot;Quality Issues in Blockchain and DLT Apps&quot; . Registrations already available.
Software quality is being transformed to increase its value. Deployment and continuous measurement, automation, and artificial intelligence, are all trends pushing for quality more integrated to organizations. Continuous Testing contributes to integrating software quality into all development processes. Delivering such an approach presents real organizational and technical challenges.In this workshop, we will share how to implement the different components of Continuous Testing on a concrete case. We will use the open-source test automation platform Cerberus Testing, connected to solutions frequently used in Continuous Testing in DevOps (e.g. multiple environments, non-regression automated tests, GitHub Actions, Slack).The objectives of the workshop are to:<ul><li>Implement robust tests combining web actions and APIs</li><li>Deploy a CI/CD pipeline incorporating automated quality gates</li><li>Implement sanity-check test campaigns, post-deployment</li><li>Run production user experience monitoring campaigns</li><li>Use reporting and analytics to measure the impact of continuous testing</li></ul>We recommend that you have your own PC to practice on.
