About the workshop:
Are you longing to deepen the connection with your body? In this 90-minute creative somatic workshop, you’ll gently reconnect with yourself and explore the parts of you that need care and attention through letter writing.
What is a creative somatic workshop?
It’s a gentle space that focuses on safety and care in our bodies. Together, we practice listening to what our bodies are saying in the moment and create something we can hold onto to support what we discover. In this workshop, we’ll let our bodies guide us where they most need attention and write a heartfelt letter to ourselves to open in six months. If you’re looking for a space that values curiosity and creativity led by the body, this is the right workshop for you.
Your host:
Kris is a somatic practitioner and a lover of words, especially the handwritten kind. She is a certified trauma-informed embodiment coach who listens to the body as a guide and helps others do the same. Through her work, she combines body wisdom with creativity to make somatic practices more accessible to everyone.
Her body-led business, subterrene femme, offers a curious and thoughtful somatic space that centers liberation for every body. Kris is proudly and loudly Colombian (her laugh gives it away!) and loves traveling to spend time with trees. Some of her favorites trees are in Bodh Gaya and Aotearoa. She has lived many lives and speaks bits of six languages, with Portuguese currently challenging her the most.
Kris enjoys exploring the nuances, margins, and in-between spaces of life, both with herself and with her clients.
