Events and Conferences: We organize PTMC - Portugal Medical Cannabis (since 2018), 4:20 Talks (Conversas 4:20) and other smaller gatherings for cannabis professionals. These are essential platforms to spread the latest knowledge in cannabis research, promote education and literacy in cannabis, and discuss the future of this sector in Portugal and the rest of the world;3. Media Partnerships: Beyond conferences, we engage in a variety of Media partnerships with events and institutions around the world, aimed at increasing awareness about the uses and benefits of cannabis and hemp;4. International and Specialized Team: It's an honor for us to have collaborators and columnists from various countries and areas of specialization. They bring a wealth of perspectives and knowledge, enriching our content and broadening our reach. <h4>The event</h4><p>At PTMC , attendees can expect illuminating sessions from Dr. Vasco Bettencourt and Dr. Ana Rita Martins from Infarmed's Medicinal Cannabis Office, which will delve into licensing and inspection processes, offering valuable insights and answering audience queries.</p><p>The day progresses with a dynamic Q&A session and a networking lunch, providing ample opportunities for interaction and collaboration. Later, a Round Table discussion with industry experts, moderated by Journalist Laura Ramos, offers a comprehensive analysis of the day's topics with significant audience participation encouraged.</p><p>After the closing remarks the day ends with a cocktail networking session making PTMC a one of a kind opportuity for developing strengthened connections and gather a deeper understanding of the medicinal cannabis landscape in Portugal.</p><p><strong><strong>Don't miss out on this enriching experience!</strong></strong></p>

Welcome Coffee and Participant’s Accreditation @ Sociedade de Geografia 

All conferences and round tables will take place at Sociedade de Geografia de Lisboa, at Rua das Portas de Santo Antão 102, Lisbon. The event will begin with a brief introduction to PTMC, highlighting the purpose of the meeting and outlining the main themes to be covered throughout the day.

Opening Session

Dr. Vasco Bettencourt and Dr. Ana Rita Martins, from the Medicinal Cannabis Office at Infarmed, will be our special guests and main speakers. They will mostly talk about the aspects of the licensing and inspection processes in Portugal and will be open to answer the audience’s questions.
