PM Portugal Toastmasters is part of the international Toastmasters network, focused on developing communication, leadership, and project management skills. The sessions take place every Monday, from 7:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at the Alcântara Library in Lisbon.
Each session follows a well-defined structure that includes:
- Prepared speeches by members, following the Pathways educational program;
- Impromptu speeches (Table Topics) to train mental agility and spontaneity;
- Constructive evaluations, where members receive feedback for continuous improvement;
- Rotating roles, such as moderator, evaluator, timekeeper, and others, to foster hands-on leadership development.
Although it has a special focus on project management, the club is open to everyone — from curious beginners to experienced professionals — and offers a welcoming, collaborative environment to experiment, learn, and grow.
In addition to regular sessions, members have access to speech contests, workshops, special events, and a global network of Toastmasters clubs.
