Important Note – A relatively easy but not short hike of 9 km

Objectives

• Photograph rural and wild environments in a valley between Azeitão and Arrábida
• Encourage social interaction and sharing among participants

• Arrival of participants and introductions
• Introduction to Landscape Photography
• Departure for the full-day route
• Free photography supported by Carlos Loff

• Circular route with almost no repeated paths
• Capela das Necessidades
• Quinta de Alcube
• Foothill of the Serra
• Climb halfway up the Serra

1:30 PM – Lunch – Picnic on the Serra (bring your own food)

• Passage through a small valley
• Return via a different route

5:30 PM – End at the starting point (Sunset at 6:45 PM)

Essential Equipment

• Good packed lunch – Plenty of water and food for the entire day (no shops along the route)
• Digital Camera, DSLR or Mirrorless with Manual and Priority modes
• Lenses covering somewhere between 10mm and 400mm
• Warm jacket
• Comfortable but sturdy footwear

Transport and Parking

Check Lisbon–Setúbal train schedules (Saturdays) – Link here
(Sete Rios → Setúbal at 8:39 AM and 8:59 AM)

Anyone coming from Lisbon must take a train that arrives in Setúbal by 10:00 AM.

The Bullring (bus stop to Azeitão) is 400m from the train station – Bus leaves at 10:20 AM.
