Casa Palestina is excited to welcome @majazzproject for a special weekend takeover pop-up, offering a deeper understanding of the Palestinian lived experience through archival work, talks, film screenings, conversations, music, live performances, vinyl records, prints, and books.Friday, June 26 | 7:00 PM – Midnight<ul><li>Screening of short films: Molitec in Exile</li><li>@capablancas — Landscape Sound</li><li>@majazzproject — Listening Session</li><li>@capablancas — DJ Set</li><li>@majazzproject — DJ Set</li></ul>Saturday, June 27 | 7:00 PM – Midnight<ul><li>Introduction to the archive and talk with Mo’min Swaitat</li><li>Screening of the black-and-white documentary Susya, followed by a Q&amp;A</li></ul>Our very own @mominswaitat and @nourpalestina will be in conversation about the importance of preserving Palestinian art, as well as exploring narrative, memory, and the supernatural landscape through a reflection on Susya—a 55-minute black-and-white film documenting Palestinian Bedouin culture and lived experience in the West Bank.<ul><li>Live performance by @0.iza_</li><li>DJ set by @majazzproject &amp; friends</li></ul>Join us for two evenings of listening, learning, and gathering through sound, film, and archival memory.Enjoy our on-site restaurant and bar .
