This course is designed for those who want to get acquainted with one of the most classic and versatile artistic mediums — oil painting. “Meeting the Oil” is specially created for beginners taking their first steps.

Oil paints offer endless possibilities, allowing you to create works in a wide range of styles — from expressive abstracts to detailed realism.

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to paint realistic artworks, this course is an ideal starting point. You’ll focus on the fundamentals of oil painting with an emphasis on realism, while completing 2–3 finished pieces.

By the end of the course, you’ll understand essential techniques and practical approaches, giving you the confidence to explore your own ideas, develop your style, and continue your journey into the world of oil painting.

The course runs each Tuesday and will run for 6 sessions.
