Discover the art of weaving in Rita Martins Pereira’s cosy studio. In this three-hour session, you will learn the basics of setting up and working with a table loom, using weaving tools, and exploring designs, textures, materials, and colours. You will also calculate warp and weft, experiment with different finishing techniques, and leave with a sample that reflects the creative and relaxing time you have spent. Prior to your visit, Rita will arrange a video call to finalise the details of your experience, please leave your contacts.

The studio is 10 minutes walk to Metro yellow line , 2 minutes walk to direct bus 736 to city center.

What age is recommended for kids?

From my experience after 11 years old is when kids will take more benefit from this workshop.

Is it suitable for people with mobility issues?

The studio is located on the 3rd floor with no lift.
