Kids Art Workshop "Crazy Brushes" @ Good Company Books
Join us with your kids for a creative and fun Art Workshops on Sunday morning at Good Company Bookstore!
Our workshop arises as an extension of the reading sessions that take place on Saturday mornings at Good Company Bookstore. The objective is to give body to the inner world of each participant, whether from the stories heard the previous week or from the need to transpose their own fantasies into shapes, colors, and textures.
The upcoming workshop, Crazy Brushes, proves that you don't need to go to a store to find the perfect paintbrush. Sometimes, it’s waiting in the park or hidden in that famous junk drawer we all have at home.
Using everyday objects and natural elements, participants will build homemade brushes and explore their possibilities. After testing these new tools, they will develop a composition, taking advantage of the unique effects each brush offers. In this way, the marks left behind will suggest the path forward, leaving it up to each individual to decide what to compose based on the shapes and textures obtained.
In addition to the materials already included, a variety of pre-made brushes will be available for immediate experimentation. For younger participants, the assembly process will be adapted to their ages.
Tickets for the event
The event has a cost of 7 euros (+tax). We ask that you make the reservation in advance so we can prepare enough materials for all the little artists. Please select how many adults will accompany. If you cannot attend, we ask that you cancel your ticket so that others can join.
What are we going to do?
Each session is unique and offers a structured script, designed to guide each child in the exploration of the contours of their imagination. We are going to discover different themes, techniques, and supports in each encounter. Here, we demystify the idea of "not having a knack" or "I can't" and we celebrate experimentation as an essential part of the process.
What do you need to bring?
Nothing special, just bring your curiosity! We provide all the necessary materials to materialize ideas into physical creations.
Who is this event for?
This workshop is for all children who want to expand their creative horizons through art. So that they feel safe and integrated, parents and caregivers are welcome to accompany the sessions.
A note from the hostess
