Imane Djamil - Talk

Imane Djamil’s work in Tarfaya, a remote town on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, is shaped by memory, displacement, and the passage of time. Moving between documentary and fiction, her photographs explore the ways personal histories and imagined narratives become attached to place. She will speak about returning to the same territory over time, photographing landscapes marked by absence and change, and allowing a long-term project to evolve alongside her own relationship with it.
