Fireside Chat with Perry Patraszewski

Wednesday, Mar 18 from 6 pm to 9 pm
Overview

Join us for a monthly fireside chat with a successful entrepreneur followed by networking over a drink!

The Speaker: Perry Patraszewski

From hairdresser to 7-figure exit at Blue Tit London to launching Ministry of Mushrooms (MOM) in Lisbon, Perry Patraszewski’s story is shaped by grit and the pursuit of freedom. Born in a small Polish town, he chose hairdressing as the quickest path to independence, eventually moving to the UK at 21 and starting over without speaking English. With some savings and a co-founder, he opened Blue Tit, a single East London salon they built themselves with found furniture and intuition. Nine years later, Blue Tit London grew to 11 locations, over 120 employees, and nearly £6 million in annual revenue. In 2021, Perry exited his majority stake in a 7-figure deal while keeping a minority position until today.

Perry then faced the uncomfortable question of what purpose looks like after reaching one’s goal. While he had experimented with mushrooms, he had never envisioned them as a business path. But as he watched more people struggle with stress and declining wellbeing, he felt compelled to share his findings and explore how mushrooms could support others.

Today, Perry is the founder of Ministry of Mushrooms (MOM), a Lisbon-based brand and mushroom education hub handcrafting cold-pressed functional elixirs powered by mushrooms, adaptogens, and plants. MOM now operates a shop in Lisbon and partners with more than 15 retailers including Nuua, Fable, Sublime, Healthy Horizon, and The Co-Collective, while participating in major European accelerators at Unicorn Factory Lisboa.

Join us as Perry shares his journey of starting from scratch, scaling, exiting, and what it means to build a business in pursuit of purpose and longevity.
