Fabien Ecochard - Talk

Working between film directing and street photography, Fabien Ecochard brings a cinematic sensibility to his photographs of Paris and other cities. Influenced by the traditions of colour street photography, his work explores the relationship between people and their environments, often using carefully observed moments to suggest narratives beyond the frame. Drawing from years of photographing Paris and the work featured in his book Cosmopolite, he will speak about how working with moving and still images shapes his way of seeing, and what cinema and street photography can learn from each other.
