Mesa de Frades is a fado house where fado singers and musicians go to fados. It is the ideal place for those who want to have a genuine fado night and live like a Portuguese at night. The fado only begin after dinner, so that all the attention is on the good music that presents / displays in this chapel of Sec. XVIII with original tiles that raise the wonderful acoustics of the house. The atmosphere is casual and the food delicious.

Bread, homemade butter with herbs, olive, goat cheese puff pastry with honey, fish from garden= (fried green beans), Tuna Patê.

Main course: Fish: Codfish by “Mesa de Frades”(crema of grain, sweaty spinach, cod, bread and almond, layered) or fresh grilled Fish Fillet with rosemary and lemon accompined by vegetables.

Or Meat: Steak by “Mesa de Frades” with Portuguese sauce or mixed peppers sauce

Or Vegan: Vegetables “à Brás” (tradicional portuguese recipe)

Desserts: Eggs Pudim

Or Chocolate salami sugar free

Or Fruit: Orange

Drinks: Wine of the house (red&white), water, beer, juice.
