About this event

Give Your Clothes a Second Life with Embroidery

Bring a piece of clothing that needs a little love. Maybe it has a stain, a rip, or it’s lost a bit of its spark and transform it into something new. In this beginner-friendly workshop you’ll learn a variety of creative techniques while enjoying a cozy Sunday afternoon with other creative souls.

Isn’t it amazing how instead of throwing something away, you can give your clothing a second life with embroidery making it uniquely yours and being sustainable at the same time? <3

For our Audience:

Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced stitcher, this fun embroidery workshop will inspire and teach you how to give your clothes a creative, personal touch. Bring a T-shirt, sweatshirt, tote bag, dress..whatever piece you would love to give a second life to.

What we’ll cover:

  • Choosing and using different types of needles
  • Tips for threading, knotting and securing your stitches
  • A variety of embroidery stitches, easy to advanced
  • Working with and without hoops
  • Using blank and printed stabilizers
  • Exploring colors, textures, and creative patterns

All materials provided, just bring a piece of clothing to transform and your creativity!:)
