I am a woman, and I want a space where I can show up and be absolutely imperfect. I want to be irrational and make mistakes and act according to my intuition and trust it. I want to dance without thinking about what anyone thinks. I want to sweat and not worry. And I want to laugh while I'm on it. I want to have a space for honesty and pleasure. This is for women who want to dance deliciously. Women who want to dance to anything, anywhere, anytime. This is for women who feel wildness inside and want to connect with it. This is for women who want to dance where it’s appropriate , and definitely where it’s not appropriate. This is for women who want to show up for themselves. This is for women who want to deeply connect with other women. This is for you, if you feel it’s for you. This is a learning community. We support one another, create together, lift each other, and inspire. We’re learning what our bodies want to do, and in the process, we get to try all sorts of things. This is a class designed to help you unlearn what you know and learn to have real fun on the dance floor, radiating a full-body pleasure experience. Facilitator: My name is Agita. I am a non-professional dancer and physical theatre teacher. I’ve discovered the secret to dancing for hours, and I want to share it with everyone I know. The methods we use in this class are a mix of Contemporary Dance, BioDanza, Physical Theatre, and others. But the main tools are pleasure and intuitive movement. It's healing, it's soothing, it feels gooood. For any questions or concerns, you can always ask me directly. We will have 4 sessions + a Conscious Dance experience as a celebration of our time together [included]. Sessions start on the 24th of April, at 7pm. Our dancefloor is an inclusive space that welcomes and celebrates people of all ages, abilities, gender identities, relationships, backgrounds, and beliefs. Everyone is welcome - come as you are!
