Community Sharing Circle

What to Expect

How often do we get invited to an event, a dinner, or a gathering and yet leave without really sharing how we are truly feeling inside? So often conversations stay on the surface, even when part of us long for deeper connection and understanding.

We thought it was about time to create Fable’s Community Sharing Circle, a safe space for our community to come together just as they are.

No matter what stage of life you are in or what you might be carrying, everyone is welcome here. This evening is an opportunity for all of us to pause, to express how we are really doing in the present moment, and to listen to one another with openness and care.

Your host will guide the circle through simple sharing techniques that encourage reflection, presence, and active listening. All emotions are welcome here, including joy, grief, confusion, gratitude, and everything in between.

By the end of the evening, our hope is that you will leave feeling a little lighter, more connected, and perhaps even with the beginning of a new friendship.

About your host:

Your host Cici is Canadian-Greek-Croatian and grew up in Germany, raised quadrilingual from birth. Throughout her life she has lived in different countries such as Germany, Indonesia, South America, and Greece. Having spent much of her life abroad, Cici deeply understands what it feels like to live in a foreign country, to feel isolated or unseen, and to long for genuine connection and community. That is why she is so passionate about holding space for others and creating moments of real human warmth.

Cici is a translator and despite speaking eight languages, she believes we all share one universal language: the language of kindness and love. <3

About the Venue: Fable

Fable is an English bookshop, cafe, and creative events space in Lisbon. We offer wholesome meals, specialty coffee, natural wine, and a thoughtfully curated selection of both fiction and non-fiction books. We also host a medley of events and workshops focused on creativity, wellness, book and music launch parties, and inclusive community gatherings.
