It’s the kind of night where you can sip a glass of wine, nibble on some artisan snacks, and hear someone tell their first-ever joke - or their best one yet. What to Expect from the Event?Our host, Gui Sancho, will open the floor and kick things off with a set. Then the mic will be open to anyone who wants to try some stand-up! Whether you’ve been doing comedy for years or it’s your first time touching a mic, you’re welcome here. Just show up and put your name in the hat.Please Note: Open mic comedy events are a chance for aspiring comics to test new material, which means performers are not pre-screened and the material can vary. That said, we ask all comedians to be respectful and steer clear of potentially triggering topics. Absolutely no abusive, racist, homophobic, or discriminatory content is tolerated. Republica.By Bike: If you're using the Gira public bicycles, there is a docking station right across the street (#431 - Rua do Arco Cego / Av. Magalhães Lima).By Car: There is a paid parking lot across the street, between Rua Arco do Cego and Rua Dona Filipa de Vilhena. Street parking is also available around the neighborhood.
