Neither drama nor absolute truths: we intentionally bring together people who might differ between them, to be constructively provoked by each other or by our questions (or rather the public's). In other words, it's about reinforcing Academia's and Nova SBE Innovation Ecosystem's role of nurturing our intellectual openness and cross-thinking for a more inclusive, considerate innovation development. However, macroeconomics History tells us that technological disruption over the last centuries did not change the “labour market” so profoundly in terms of unemployment: actually, highly digital countries in Asia currently have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the world.There’s a huge gap between such perspectives: can we keep the balance between being engulfed by alien storytelling, and embracing digital upskilling at a global scale and on our own behalf? Should we really “stop” AI development? Can we put AI apart from the economic environment? What would be the way to keep deploying AI responsibly for the common good? How deep should be our concern or our excitement? Is regulation – or human regulation over bots - the only possible answer?Join us to explore such questions in the next Collision Talk.
